If you have a simple powerpoint that you want your students to pay attention to just add random pics:
-my gangster cat makes an often apperance
-Grumpy Cat
-Rainbow/ Neon Cat
- Random selfies kids take on the iPad they use as a timmer! The selfies slowly came to an end
- random "poo" pet pictures found on the internet!
Obviously this is not content friendly or related, but when I have a power point for them to label sections or a serious one where I can throw a random picture in to see if they notice, it works GREAT! The random ones I don't aknowledge on purpose, but the labeling ones that are on each slide... I make a tourguide barbie Toy Story style guide through our powerpoint & it works! :)
