Center #4:

Welcome to Center number 4 where you will become civics detectives as you try to find the context clues within the Political cartoons to find the authors purpose and main idea of the cartoon.

Here is how it works:

1.   Circle an item in the cartoon that you feel serves a purpose of telling what the cartoon is about.

2. Draw a line from the circle and write a brief explanation on what the circled item means/ symbolizes in the blank area (not too big so there is space for more clues).

3. Place your group # and period # underneath so that I can provide you with a grade latter on.  Format: G___P___ fill in the blanks with the appropriate answers.
