Center #3:
How
a bill becomes a law. The main job of the Legislative branch is to Make the
Laws, so we need to understand as a class how the great ideas that “we the
people” have then become a law. Please use one side of your paper (the other
side has been used in or will be used in center #2) to create a
flow chart. This flow chart should include all 10 steps that are laid out in
the video. Please use your time wisely and work as a group. In a few weeks we
will be following this process ourselves. Hopefully as you are learning about
this process you are thinking of some ideas that can help you come up with your
very own bill that you will attempt to pass in our “HMMS Congress”.
