I don't like to take pictures from the internet to show my students different places we are learning about. I LOVE using my photo's from Gettysburg, Pearl Harbor, the Everglades, D.C., etc. I always take a a silly picture and put it at the end of the Powerpoint for them to look forward to, like the pigeon that was following us at Pearl Harbor and we named him Peter the tour guide. My kids become WAY more interested than they do with some video or slide show off the internet. Try using your pictures as well.
